About the Role

As a Kitchen Hand at The Crossing Theatre, you will play a crucial role in assisting The Crossing Theatre's kitchen team. You will support the kitchen staff with daily tasks to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to build skills in the hospitality industry. The responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment. 
  • Washing of dishes and ensuring all items are cleaned and stored correctly.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation. 
  • Supporting the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills who performs well in a fast-paced environment, and has great organisational and time-management skills. Our ideal candidate also has:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food related business.
  • Ability to work proficiently in a face-paced environment. 
  • Highly reliable with a strong work ethic. 
  • The ability to work independently or in a team environment. 
  • Have the availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends.
