About the Role
 
This role is responsible for a wide range of operational tasks aimed at maintaining the Narrabri Airport, Depot and Saleyard to the highest standards. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, all while supporting our commitment to exceptional service. 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Undertake aircraft refuelling operations and fuel quality control checks as required
  • General building repairs and maintenance across multiple areas of Council
  • Vegetation control of Council's rental property portfolio
  • After hours on call activities for the Narrabri Airport
About You
 
We are seeking a multi-skilled individual who can operate autonomously, take initiative, and thrive in a dynamic environment. If you’re someone who enjoys hands-on work, can tackle a variety of tasks, and is eager to learn and grow within our team, this role is for you!
 
Our ideal candidate will have:
  • A can-do attitude
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and work to schedules
  • A current Airport Reporting Officer Certificate (ARO) or be in the process of acquiring 
  • Demonstrated experience in the operation of small plant and equipment such as tractors, mowers, brushcutters
