Director Infrastructure Delivery

The Director Infrastructure Delivery is a key executive leadership role within Narrabri Shire Council, responsible for overseeing the planning, delivery, and maintenance of critical infrastructure services. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and strategic leader to drive positive impact through the provision of safe, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure, while fostering a culture grounded in integrity, unity, and trust.
As a member of our Executive Leadership Team, you will lead a diverse portfolio, including:
- Assets and Engineering
- Water and Sewer Services
- Roads Services
- Waste Services
- Parks and Open Spaces
You will be accountable for ensuring statutory compliance, aligning service delivery with Council’s strategic objectives, while driving environmentally responsible and customer-focused outcomes.
The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and bring extensive experience in infrastructure planning and delivery, long-term financial and asset management, and service optimisation. A demonstrated record of senior leadership in a values-based, multi-disciplinary environment is essential.
A sound understanding of the legislative, social, and political frameworks in which NSW local government operates is critical.
