Road Services Worker 2

Location: Narrabri

  • Permanent Full Time
  • 9 Day Fortnight
  • $61,932 - $68,532 per annum + superannuation

About the Role

As a Road Services Worker 2, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing roads, footpaths, and related infrastructure. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Providing high-quality plant operation services to the work teams.
  • Perform labouring duties within the work teams.
  • Maintenance of plant, tools and equipment.
  • Maintaining relevant records to the duties of the position, including but not limited to, timesheets, gravel load sheets and work schedules.
  • Identification and recommend opportunities for cost saving and efficiencies in operation.
  • Identification of variations to instructions and advise the supervisor with recommendations.

About You

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual who is passionate about road maintenance and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in road maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate and maintain machinery and equipment.
  • Experience with the operation of load-shifting machines, including the front-end loaders.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
