About the Role

As a Road Service Worker 1, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing roadways in the Narrabri area. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with road maintenance tasks such as patching, sealing, and line marking
  • Operating and maintaining road plant equipment
  • Assessing and addressing road hazards and safety concerns
  • Accurately complete plant and equipment operation documentation, including a pre-start safety checklist.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in road maintenance and construction. With the support of our experienced team, you will gain hands-on experience and have the chance to advance within the organisation.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about road quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in road maintenance or construction is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
